Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps individuals learn, maintain, regain, modify, or adapt skills for daily living, participation, and independence. We work with people of all ages who are managing:

Illness, injury, or acquired conditions

Disability or long-term conditions

Changes in health associated with ageing

Our Services Include:

Individualised occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children, young people and adults, tailored to each person’s goals, strengths and daily living needs.

Evaluation of:

Fine and gross motor skills

Self-care and daily living tasks

Equipment, seating, and postural support

Home adaptations and housing needs

Moving and handling, including sling and hoist assessments

Service delivery across the lifespan, with particular specialist expertise in paediatrics, supporting children and young people to participate fully in home, school and community life.

Services can be provided in home, school, clinic, hospital or care home settings, and include occupational therapy assessments for educational tribunals where required.
