EmSEVEN is committed to CPD. As an Occupational Therapist, Val is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which is the regulatory body for the profession. EmSEVEN follow the guidance and frameworks for CPD that are issued by the HCPC.
As part of a range of different learning activities and opportunities, EmSEVEN also share a commitment to interprofessional and interagency working as a way of enhancing professional learning and development.
In 2018, EmSEVEN launched their first regional conferences/training event. The success of ‘Getting Personal’ in September 2018 was followed by ‘Reclaimed Identities’ in September 2019.
